SEO Friendly URL

An SEO-friendly URL is a web address in which the domain and a slash is followed by a series of words, usually separated by hyphens or underscores, which briefly describe the content on the page (eg https://www.example.com/iphone-tips-and-shortcuts). A URL that is not SEO friendly has a bunch of numbers and parameters following the slash. Often times the SEO-friendly URL is similar to the web page's title and contains keywords targeted by the content on the page. Friendly URLs are beneficial for both internet users and search engines (which may use the URL as one of the factors to determine the relevancy of the page to the keywords searched by the user).
