Google Webmaster Guidelines

Google Webmaster Guidelines is an online document on Google's support site that provides some basic recommendations to help sites get found and indexed. However, the main guidelines are the quality guidelines which outline the practices that Google considers to be illicit. Websites found to be violating any of the quality guidelines may be deindexed by Google or have their website's rank demoted, depending on the severity of the violation.
